These are deeply colored, earthy beautiful Czech glass beads. These beads photographed much lighter than they are. They are a deep, earthy tortoise shell-like glass with swirls of dark amber and olive green. Each bead was coated with a speckled finish known as a "picasso" finish. Then a band at the equator of each bead is cut away to show the swirled, earthy rich colors of the glass beneath. They are just glorious, if only the photo did the justice. They are $3.50 for ten beads.
