Every so often, an incense comes along that shows someone willing to take chances and succeeding. Forest Deep is one of those interesting trips in incense land. Strangely dubbed “Pure Sandalwood” in some places, it’s far from being just a sandalwood. Forest Deep is far more interesting than just being a sandalwood incense. It does contain sandalwood, excellent sandalwood at that, but it’s just the beginning. Forest Deep is a complex, deep, slightly sweet, earthy adventure, cooling, a bit mossy, and profoundly relaxing. It’s one of very few incenses that we found to blend well with other incenses, particularly florals. It’s a rabbit hole that runs deep, and we keep discovering new elements to this fragrance now and again. If you’re looking for something unconventional but highly pleasing, Forest Deep is a good choice.
